Since Actingland is a talent showcase web site, we give you the option of creating personal profile web pages for display on our site.

• Private Profile Web Pages are for use by our casting partners only. This means that only talent agents, managers, casting directors, producers and potential employers who have been granted access to our password protected talent search engine, will have access to search for and view your private profile web page.



• Public Profile Web Pages are available to the general public. Anyone visiting our site may search for and view your public profile web page. If you create a public profile web page, then all visitors to the web site will have access to your personal description, contact information, resume, documents and pictures attached, contained or included within.

Access to Private Information
We attempt to limit access to our searchable database (or copies thereof) only to members of the entertainment industry who are actively seeking actors and/or extras. This includes Casting Directors, Talent Agents and Agencies, Producers, Directors, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of your profiles, resumes, and/or photographs by third parties who access such while they are in our searchable database. You may remove your profile, resume, and/or photographs from our searchable database at any time. However, Casting Directors, Talent Agents, and others who have access to that database or obtained a copy of that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database, may have retained a copy of your profile, resume, and/or photographs in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of your profile, resumes, and/or photographs in these instances.


Children's Privacy
Actingland is committed to protecting the privacy of children. We ask that children not submit information to us. Actingland does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information directly from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register with or for any Actingland service or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on Actingland.

We encourage parents and guardians to explore the Internet with their children. Visitors under age 13 should only access our services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do allow some children's profiles, with the following conditions. They must be posted by a parent or guardian, and all contact information must be that of the agent and/or parent/guardian. No personal information about the child is allowed. Further protecting the privacy of children, Actingland will not allow members under the age of 13 to display a public profile web page or publicly display any personally identifiable information on our web site. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us immediately. If your child has registered using a false age, please notify us and we will immediately close the account and nullify all personally identifiable information collected from them.

Due to the nature of our site, it is extremely likely that you will visit another site through a link listed on our site. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies or the content of such other sites.


Newsletters
As our site continues to grow and we launch new products and services we may provide you with details of our new products and services. We may use your contact information to send information about our company and its products and services. Registered users can opt-out of receiving email communications through the opt-out function described in each email message delivered from Actingland. Once a user has completed the opt-out process, they will be removed from our email mailing list.
